Fantastic story, you never fail to deliver when it comes to Avatar desperation fics, and this one is no exception. As always, the characters are spot on, the pooping decription is outstanding, and the fic actually has a qenuine "story" feel to it. I admit, though, I hope there will be more stories regarding Azula and her bad case of "Mai's Revenge" (or should be "Ty Lee's Revenge," since she's the one who made the chocolate in the first place?) because I believe you were too easy on her. Azula must be made to poop in her pants (preferably while in a position of authority or some other really embarassing situation, and preferrably with a very bad case of the runs)! Next time, SHOW NO MERCY!!!

This was an entertaining fic. I hope it gets continued by you, Anime Lover, or someone else with talent. I would be disappointed if this uptight girl's diarrhea adventure were to end here.
After reading different fics' descriptions of Azula and seeing pics of her on the Internet I've formed a pretty good image of her in my head, despite never having seen the show. This means that, at least to me, this girl suppressing outer signs of a diarrhea attack, and sticking her bottom out to release gas, are very amusing. I like how Azula is suspicious, but doesn't figure out what's going on. I get the impression that she isn't all that bright, but thinks she's cunning.
A couple sentences I liked in particular: "She felt bloated and her gut churned and roiled like a tropical storm." "Azula moaned in pain and folded in half, hugging her stomach as her colon continued to force the wet mush from her body."
Like with many fics, I like the little banter. The conflict between these 2 girls forms the basis for this fic's plot, and the 1st scene does a good job of illustrating what that conflict is and why it exists. I also think the last exchange was a good way to end this chapter.
Laxatives don't really work that quickly. You should have it jump forward at least an hour after the scene where Azula eats the chocolates, and come up with a reason why she was near Mai's house again. I would also suggest adding a scene where Mai teases Azula by impeding her access to the toilet, just long enough for Azula to get really frantic. That little bit of tension and humor could make a big difference.
Despite the complaints, you did a good job.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. Too bad you got that impression of Azula, it's not that she isn't bright. She's really quite quick-witted. Her problem is she over-estimates the amount of loyality she has from her subjects and friends. If I decide to go places with this one, I'll have to keep this in mind and try to make her character more accurate. I know laxatives don't really work that quickly, they aren't that effective IRL either. Your idea of having Mai impede Azula's access to a toilet is excellent, though. Perhaps force the Princess into a situation where she has to admit her problem. I want to continue it, or have someone else pick it up and add a chapter, and I think I left it open. What with the mission to quash the Earth Kingdom rebellion and all. I just haven't given it much thought beyond this chapter.

I liked it, though I hope you still do that other Azula story you're were planning :D
Personally I've never been big on diarrhea, but it was still a nice fic neverthesless.
Sometimes I would think Azula wouldn't mind dumping in front of others, if it meant getting relief, she might just have the guts (pun unintended) to do it. Like if she had to shit majorly as she was giving a speech, I wouldn't be surprised if she droped trou and started crapping right there, she'd just bark something to get attentnion back on whatever she was talking about XP
Great add-on to an already great story.

I don't know, I've never pictured Azula as one who'd be willing to drop trow in the middle of a speech, that strikes me as a Toph trait :). I never imagined Azula would be afraid to admit she had to go, though, but she doesn't like to show weakness or imperfection. I imagined she'd see diarrhea as a weakness and do everything to hide it.
