Definitely an improvement now that it's not all bunched together. Though it's hard to tell if the story is meant to be more of a tongue in cheek parody or just a more light hearted take, given the reference to the healing effects of items and upgrading weapons. But that's just me, since I always liked to try and capture the atmosphere of the game's horror at the same time.
Also, quite a number of spelling errors here and there. You should go back and read it over to correct them. Other than that, it was a nice simple read.

Looks like this could be a good read, but for the love of pete, please use spacing. Giant blocks of text are just an absolute bother for some people to try and read through.
A basic rule of thumb, space after every 3-4 periods, unless the sentences form a necessary paragraph.
Author's Response: Oh crap your right, really sorry about that, I was in a hurry and forgot to actually check the story. I fixed it now though. Geez...rookie mistake. Thank you for pointing it out.
