Hey, everyone. I've a few questions about interactive stories that someone may be able to help me with.

1. In the original version, I seem to remember there was a character limit to each path. Something like each path could only be 500 words or something like that. Any know if this limitation exists in version 2?

2. Is it possible for paths to join. In other words, is it possible for two options to lead to the same place? Something like:
"You find yourself in a large room with two glass doors, one on the left and one on the right. They both appear to lead to the dark alley. Which door do you choose?"

In this case, would it be possible for both doors to lead to the same path? That is, of course, a terrible example since in that case there would be no reason to offer a choice in the first place but the answer is important to an idea I've been tossing around in my head for a while.

We need a Valkyria Chronicles, um, thingie added.

I seem to have been afflicted with a crippling case of writer's block. I think if I could just worry about the middle of my stories I'd be fine, but I can't seem to work past the introduction anymore. They never seem good enough to me.

I suspect that my introductions have always been rather weak, but for some reason it never bothered me until now and I can't seem to finish a story no matter how badly I may want to.

Any suggestions to over come my slump?

So, this is basically just a fun (hopefully) little thread where people come and post the top five girls they like to see or would like to see in a Nyou Fiction story.

The only rule is they have to be pre-existing characters. No originals. Sorry guys, I know I'm a spoilsport, but that'd make it to easy since everyone loves their own baby.

I'm also limiting myself to one character per game/anime but you don't have to if you don't want.

My list:

1. Yuna (FFX/FFX-2)
<SARCASM> Woah! A shocker. No one expected that, right?</SARCASM>

2. Princess Azula (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
Prior to season 3, she'd have been lower on my list. But, man, for a cartoon she's kinda a looker when her hair is down. I'd love to see her in an accidential panty pooping and/or diarrhea story but can't seem to figure out how that'd go. I mean, having an accident or diarrhea is having a vulnerability and in the show she is dipicted as pretty much invulnerable. Knowing her, she'd push out an enormous log in her panties and turn it into a victory for the Fire Nation, somehow.

3. Rukia Kuchiki (Bleach)
I've never read all the manga or watched even a full episode of the anime, but there's something about Rukia that I can't get enough of. Omnipresent's Bleach stories and later Orpheum's re-writes are still among my favorite stories.

4. Sakura Haruno (Naruto, First Arc, Bonus Points for Long Haired Sakura)
Hinata's my favorite gal in the anime, but for a Nyou Fiction story heroine, this was an extremely diffcult decision, I really love both her and Sakura in this situation. In the end, I opted for Sakura because ... well ... the coin came up heads    .

5. Videl Satan (DBZ, Bonus Points for Pigtailed Videl)
I've used her in two stories and wanna use her more, I loved Pride and Privacy. What can I say, Satan's daughter kicks ass .

Oh, mighty admins! I come before you today with a most humble request. If it pleases you, could you bless the Tome of Texts, that which some call "The Fiction Site", with a section devoted to the anime where ninjas wear orange track suits, Naruto.

And if it doth shine in your favor, add at least the characters known as "Hinata Hyuga", "Sakura Haruno" and "Ino Yamanaka". Do this and Poowrite, humble scribe of the Tome, will sing your praises for years to come.

Or, at least as long as it takes to post a "Thank you" reply.

I gained access to some of my older stories. Yay! I'll be posting them (with very little modification, mind you) through the week. So, ya' know, I hope you enjoy them

Hey, what browser are you guys using? I noticed that when I post author responses, it leaves in control characters like "\n\r" instead of doing a newline. It is quite an eyesore and the only explaination I can come with is my old IE 6 browser 

So, I'm gonna throw this out here before I get to much farther in uploading my stories: they don't appear to be showing up under their category. When I go to account info->Manage Stories I see the four stories I submitted as well as thr three Anime Lover submitted. If I click on a story's title I am sent to a page that reads

"Error! That story does not exist on this archive. You may search for it or return to the home page."

If you weren't ready for us to start uploading stories here, my bad. Orpheum's seemed to be working, so I thought we were a go ^^.
