To increase activity, I thought I'd try to make a thread for more general discussion without a specific topic. I don't think it would bother the mods if we just chatted, so long as it has something to do with the website and its subject. Like maybe people can talk about unfinished stories and story ideas, or tell about times they witnessed girls "going" for real, or other things like that.
I'll start this off with a rant. I hate those T.V. commercials they have for fiber. They illustrate how repressed our society is when it comes to some things that we can have a 30 second commercial for a product that's only purpose it so make the user defecate in a regular and healthy fashion, without ever coming out and saying or showing that that's what it's for. It seems like it would make more sense if they either didn't advertise these products on T.V., or advertised them in a reasonable way. These self-censored commercials are a really weird medium between those options, and seem more frustrating and annoying than if there were just no commercials like that at all.
The one that annoys me the most is the one for Benefiber that has the model in front of a white background. Of course, any commercial using sex appeal is open to criticism, but this is especially egregious since she has nothing to do with anything. All she does is twirl around and look attractive, and there's a stupid special effect that's supposed to represent the toxins coming out of her body. This commercial never once mentions the product's real function, just says that it promotes health and rids the body of toxins. Never a word about how the toxins get out, forget about showing what it would actually look like. At least the commercial with the woman on the hammock (I think it's for a different brand of fiber) admits that the product "makes you go."
Well, there's my 2 cents. Contribute your own 2 cents if you feel like it, or just talk about any random thing that relates to Nyou Fiction and its subject matter. Whatever generates activity and discussion.
I had a problem with Subway's commercials that made it seem as though if you have *one* hamburger, you're going to order 10 plates of fried foods and have (on the menu no less): an order of shame, a side order of guilt and all that jazz.
I mean, honestly... Trying to promote your product by dragging down everyone else? How is that ethically legal?! That's like saying "Don't buy from him, he'll eat your cat!" or something even stupider than that.
Oh and don't even get me started on "THIS IS BOB."... I swear, if I wanted a longer one of ... *ahem*... those, I wouldn't look to BOB as a shining example of manhood... the grinning idiot. >_>;

I seem to notice that mostly with car commercials. And strangely, the Korean car brands are rarely put down in these manners. You just hear about how "This car is better than *insert American, Japanese, or even a European car model*. The fact that some commercials from Korean auto makers do this doesn't help either.
I just witnessed something amazing, and this is the best place to report it. I'm a big fan of (the re-imagined) Battlestar Galactica, and in that series Starbuck is a hostshot female pilot. She's pretty hot, but she's also a giant badass who doesn't care what anyone else thinks of her. Additionally, aboard the Battlestar, it seems like toilets are all unisex. So of course, I always secretly dreamed of seeing her on the toilet.
My dream came true!
In the most recent episode, "Islanded in a Stream of Stars", we get to see her on the toilet with the stall door open while she talks to another character who is currently shaving. He just sort of looks at her and she nonchalantly says, "What? The latch was broken." I'm not sure of this, but I thought I heard a faint peeing sound effect in the background of that scene. It could have been the sink where the guy was shaving, though.
The episode will probably be up on scifi.com in the next day or so, so you can check it out there if you want. Now we just need to see a Six doing her business...

I actually once thought about making some weird parody of those stupid bob commercials, with the usual themes seen here. Though I can't really think of anything, maybe someone else? ;D

Orpheum: A story that parodies phallic enhancement commercials and includes female excretion? I have an idea that springs to mind, although it isn't all that good or all that related-to-what-you're-talking-about. Suppose there's some guy who asks a deity/magical artifact/whatever to be more "masculine." It grants his wish, and he gets "enhanced" and is happy. However to keep the Universe balanced it correspondingly reduced the masculinity of another guy, vaporizing his "manhood" and turning him into a woman. She (he) is willing to do anything to reclaim her lost manhood, and that's the driving force of the plot. And having a male mind in a woman's body gives the author an excuse to do a female peeing scene and other fun stuff.
Randomness: Yesterday night I heard a girl fart. That was very strange for me, since I had never witnessed that with a girl before (not counting relatives). It was a cute girl, too.
Jimmy: This was definitely a new scene, as the episode just aired this past Friday. I'm not sure what scene you might be referring to; I think I can recall a scene where a six (lady Cylon) talks to someone through a stall door briefly, but that wasn't nearly as daring as filming Starbuck on the pot.
I say that ep too and I'm pretty sure Starbuck was actually peeing (sound too), you can see her reach for toilet paper to wipe and pull up her pants

Um, no.. not quite what I meant. More like some goofy rag on a drug that makes a girl crap in some very exaggerated, inhuman way. But with the same obnoxiously cheery feel that those danged 'Bob' commercials have.

I've been meaning to ask if anyone was having problems with the site as well. I swear, I go to the site, and bam a stupid window saying something has to shut down comes up, then a a pop-up, then the page acts goes to the 'can't connect' page like the net wasn't working. *Sigh* It's a shame, the site really hasn't been the same since the reigns were taken from Duce. Hopefully we can find a new place or something, given that I do like being able to post and comment like 4chan, but since they don't allow scat (and threads are timed), there isn't much else. Gurochan isn't bad, but seems to have the 4chan spirit of descending into stupidity at random times and again, I think the threads are timed, just not as short as on 4chan.
It actually wasn't that guy's fault, Orpheum - it was the new management after Alphabet sold the "entire" AnonIB to them. They started to put in ads to pay for the thing and those ads have spyware and crap up the wazoo in them. And if anyone happens to complain about them, *that* member gets banned and the ads are allowed to continue there. >_>;
That site is all about making money now - it's not like it used to be when Alphabet was there. And what really happened to bring Duce out of ownership is that some dumbass kid posted Child Porn on it and the FBI took it down temporarily until those images were removed.
Duce was going to remake it, but he didn't act quickly enough and that other guy had it - honestly, he was a great guy - even let me be moderator there and Duce as well - but the "new" owners really "fucked shit up" with it. >_>;
Oh... :o I know it sounds terrible, but I'm actually kind of relived to hear that other people are having the exact same problem (Orpheum) and I'm not the only one left out because my comp. sucks or I'm a moron. It still doesn't help the fact that I went out and got $60 worth of new anti-sypware when I still had a year to go on my old one and now I find out it was a total waste. Man, those adds they use there must be on steroids, they laugh at my brand new security stuff like Yarr's girls laugh at low flush toilets! ;D Funny, I used to get mad when people on Gurochan complained about the adds... :-[
I'm assuming some people can still get it to work, so I'm not saying we should all abandon it but from what I can see the activity there has really dropped off. Anon may get shut down again soon, or maybe not if idiots can't even get it to put up CP Spam and even the FBI can't get in to view it! If the money they get isn't based on actual traffic it would be the ultimate scam; get payed for having adds that no one can view! :009:
It would be great if someone sometime just created a whole new site (not like it hasn't been done before) but even though I've never tried it, I think I can understand the time and expense involved in this whole hosting mess. I have used all of these and still had problems even accessing the site. I say to avoid AnonIB like a plague because Avast and popup blockers do *not* block pop unders which slow not only the site down but your computers as well.
I say begone with it. =P
*Sigh* So it looks like nyou (the picture site) is once again dead, metaphoricly speaking of course. Hopefully we can find another site soon, preferably one like 4chan *sans life-span for threads*.

It's a playlist of "Let's Plays": game playthroughs with funny commentary. It's done by a girl (one of only three who dose this as far as I know) playing a Sailor Moon side scrolling beat-um-up arcade game. In this game, your characters have a "fidget animation" when you don't push anything for a wile like in a lot of old platforming games. It just so happens that Sailor Venuse's animation (who she's playing as) is to put both hands on her butt, press her thighs together as hard as she can, and wiggle back and forth! :004: It looks so much like she's just about to pee and poop her panties that it's amazing. The girl playing actually refers to it ten or so times over the six videos but never actually uses words like "pee". She even says she has to stop joking about it a few times, then goes right back to it a minuet later. I don't know if anyone will find this as funny as I did but it is something different for a Random thread.

I just read that eating lots of fruits and vegetables can more than triple one's bowel output. Something to maybe think about when writing stories.
I was also reading a book on superstitions a couple weeks ago that had a couple interesting chestnuts. Back when people believed in witchcraft, it was believed that you could lift a curse that had been placed on you by baking a special cake and eating it all yourself. The ingredients were the same as usual, except that instead of water you were supposed to use your pee. That could have a place in a fantasy fic. Also it used to be believed that sprinkling coal dust on a girl's shoes would instantly make her have to pee (but only if she was a virgin).
That's interesting stuff, Jimmy...funny you should mention that vegetable thing, because that sounds a lot like my new Fran story. Heh, although "triple" is just a little bit low for Fran's case....
