Theme: Story of a bladder desperation problem ultimately solved by the powers (magical, telekinetic etc.) of the chosen character.
Deadline: November 1st.
How to Enter: when you submit your story add it to the Story Contest IV category AND any other categories it belongs to.
I don't quite understand the theme, could you explain it more

I'll explain it with a quick example:
A girl with telekinetic abilities is sitting at a meeting where she is forced to attend and cannot leave for ANY reason. She develops a strong urge to urinate, but obviously can't leave to use the toilet. What she can do is let it out and use her powers to guide the stream under the table to the nearest toilet, or out an open window, or whatever.
Does that help ya?
yeah, thanks
Nurtz... I don't have any characters like that... =/
Guess I'll just go ahead and upload the hold it contest I'd already written... =/

Interesting idea Aluru, you should enter it if you're not planning to already :P.
I could just revise Bend This! I think, but I'm gonna do an original story/characters. Should be pretty fun, I hope :).

I'm not going to enter this one. Not just because I'm not all that much into only peeing. I've been pretty busy with college and work lately.
Btw, anyone can use my example idea for their story if they want to. I don't mind.
School? Work?
Yeah, like those things are even important. ::)
I am, of course, kidding.
Hmmmm... I've never tried a peeing only fic, but I could do some interesting stuff with this "powers" theme. I might be up for it, if I can find or create a suitable character.
Aluru: I might end up sitting this one out, too. I suggested this topic because I want to read stories about it, not because I have an idea for a story about it. The ideas I've come up with so far are very contrived and not really worth exploring. :(
Ok, guys, I've submitted my entry for this contest and it's an Avatar fic! ^_^
check it out!
Cool. I read it and mostly like it. I posted a review. Please don't kill me for my criticisms.
I finally have a good idea for this contest but I don't know when I'll write it. I hope I can get it finished before the deadline.
Haven't read it yet, AL. I'm home for lunch at the time of this writing so I won't get it read and reviewed until sometime tonight (probably after the game.) I'm looking forward to it, though, as I throughly enjoy anything set in the Avatar universe.

I've changed my idea like three times over the course of the month :-\. I think I've finally decided on what I wanna do, and even started putting stuff on paper (not much, though.) I've been really bogged down at work this month and it doesn't look like it'll let up, but I really hope to have something by the end of the week.
If all else fails I'll do a quick revision of Bend This! and entry it, but that'd be a last resort only. Now doubly so since there's already an Avatar fic in this contest.
Anyway, here's hoping we get some more entries.
My entry has 3,900 words so far. I should finish it tomorrow.
I look forward to reading your entry, Poowrite. I'm also curious to hear your abandoned ideas. I got pretty far with an idea before I realized it didn't follow the rules (which is ironic since I came up with the theme myself). :P
There was a raccoon or something outside my window just now.
Racoons kick ass, don't let him make a mess of your garbage, though O.o
Not sure how many words my entry is ATM, it's on my laptop and I'm posting from my desktop ::). But I think I can safely say it is not 3, 900 word. Possibly 1,000-1,200. I'd like to have it done Friday, do a little proofreading Saturday and have it up Saturday evening.
I've gone through two ideas, I'll try to throw 'em up here tonight.
What I'm working on now could possibly be against the rules. I don't think it is and I don't think anyone will disagree with me, so I'm gonna go ahead and finish it and hope that it falls within the guidelines :).
Orpheum: I read and reviewed your entry. Can you direct me to a place where I can find photos of the girls in W.I.T.C.H.? I've never seen the show and can't find pics by searching.
Poowrite: This raccoon freaked me out, since it was on the porch outside the window right behind me. That it, if it was really a raccoon. :o My story is now 5,400 words and still not done. Stupid expanding story ideas...
Just read your story, Orpheum. Glad you decided to enter, despite prefering pooping stories :).
Jimmy,

hmmm, I'm slacking. My story sits at a measley 1K words. I guess I better get some work done on it now.
Good luck with the sneaky critter living outside your house ^^
Raccoons eh? My uncle actually has made something of pets out a family of the critters up in Maine. Every night he makes them sandwiches and they stand by the porch and wait, then hold out their paws to recieve the treat. It's funny as hell, and hopefully my Grandmother (who goes up there every now and then) will have the brains to get it on tape for America's funniest home videos.
Okay, so I just posted my entry. There are probably lots of mistakes in it, and I was going to proofread it before I posted it, but now I just want to be done with it for a while. I don't know how a story with 2 characters and 1 setting could take so long to write. ::)

I unno, but if it says tv.disney, it doesn't strike me as being Japanese. :p

FallenStar: Yeah, I got that. ::) It just came as a surprise since the way the fic read made me assume it was a Japanese mahoutsukai anim?.
Anime Lover: Thanks. Now I can picture the girls. I may reread the fic now.
Everybody: Read my new fic! ;D
W.I.T.C.H. originated in France, I think. It's not a bad thing, though. Avatar comes from America and is, in my opinion, better than any animation from Japan ^^.
Will read it tonite, after werk, scout's honor!

;D Don't see nothing wrong with some non-Japanese stuff. Just as Poowrite said, we've got Avatar and a few other series. Totally Spies has French origins as does Code Lyoko and technically Metroid could be considered American-made now since the developement isn't completely Japanese anymore if I recall right.
And Teen Titans is definately not anime, even if it does try to be. :P
Frankly it's nice to not limit the site to Japanese since it helps to bring a greater range of fetish fics based on our favorite series. I think the only reason why most people don't like the pics is usually because porn based off of Western toons usually have poor design, either failing to reach the stylized look of the show or simply coming off as totally retarded looking (Pick almost any porn made on an American and it almost always sucks).
One series I would love to see having a scat fic based on would be Reboot. It just makes you wonder exactly how the characters void themselves, since we already know they require food and other comsumables. And the fact that Dot and Andrea and Mouse were hot :D
As for story length, I seem to average from about 10k to 20-odd usually. Though my shortest is only 9k. With my Tenchi story being the longest yet (60K).
I just read and reviewed your fic Jimmy. Great work, based off the three entries we have already things could be pretty close.
Fallen Star: I tend to write very short fics, so five pages halfway-ish through is pretty long for me :).
OrpheumZero: Avatar isn't really anime either, since most anime fans I've talked to only consider it anime if it came from Japan, but it doesn't try nearly as hard to be anime as Teen Titans did, I don't think ^^.
Okay, covering a few different topics in this post...
What kind of pages are we talking about? Files on my word processor have about 620 words per single-spaced page, half that for a double-spaced page. The average paperback novel has about 490 words per page, but in practice it comes to about 310, since there are so many blank and partly blank pages. I just like to count in words. My average complete story here is 6,300 words. I'm not even going to venture a guess as to what figure I'd get if I averaged all my stories.
I didn't say there was anything wrong with American stuff. I was just surprised W.I.T.C.H. wasn't Japanese, since Orpheum's fic had a Japanese "feel."
Thanks for the review, Poowrite. I feel much more confident about this story now. I wrote a response explaining my theory behind Tau's behavior, if you care to read it. I don't know who has read it so far, but if you're having trouble understanding the dialog I can post the glossary of future lingo I made for myself while writing it.
This contest is getting a good turnout. It looks like all the others had 2 or 3 entries. This one already has 3 entries and a guaranteed 4th. It would be really cool if we could get 7 entries (I think that's the number of regular contributors).
Page = 1 page on a word processor with all the default margins. I don't have a lot of white space due to conversation either, since there is only one main character and I kinda suck at dialog :-\
I mis-understood "Woah ... it isn't Japanese is it" :). Usually when I hear that it means that no matter how much the speaker liked it before realizing it wasn't from Japan, afterwards it's only "okay" or worse.
For the record, I've got my account set up to email me when I get a response to my review so I always read them. Sometimes, I wish there was a "Respond to a response" option :).
The reasoning behind Tau's behavior makes sense, and I figured that's what it was. The apology is what bothered most about it, maybe that's because I was hoping Tau would deck Zeta...
I followed the dialog fairly well, I believe. The characters' reactions were usually enough to tip me off to the meaning of any slang. One question, though: Zeta, pronounced like "Beta" with a "Z" instead of a "B" right?
I assume you mean mine for the guaranteed fourth. If so, I swear it's coming but I don't know how well it'll be received. Honestly, there isn't much peeing action. I thought about scraping it, but decided that if I did that I'd never get around to finishing one. I figure I'll wrap it up and take my lumps when I post it :P.
Anyway, if anyone here has yet to read Anime Lover, Orpheum or Jimmy's Contest IV story then you are cheating yourself and should go enjoy them!
Yes, Beta, Zeta, Eta, and Theta are all supposed to rhyme and be pronounced with a French acute "E" (so they rhyme with "gate-a") in proper scientific terminology. However Greek letters get pronounced various different ways so I wanted to make it clear. On British television I've heard "Beta" pronounced with an English long "E," so it rhymes with "P.E.T.A." So maybe there are regional variations.
Yes, I meant your fic when I said we had a guaranteed 4th. It also sounds like you also have other interesting ideas for future use.
W.I.T.C.H I believe uses some Anime influences in the same vein as Avatar and Samurai Jack, not quite wanting to be (Totally Spies) or acting like it is when it's not (Teen Titans). It presents a design that makes it distinct from others, but still has those traces of being inspired, much like how Code Lyoko isn't imitating anime as much as it is being something unique by at least borrowing elements to build itself on.
It is nice to see that the whole 'blantantly rip-off anime staples' didn't become as rampant as most people feared it would. Samurai Jack I think is to thank for that because it was influenced by the Eastern style animation style and cultural cinema, but was able to blend some of the more Western atmospheres (Western showdown like battles, slap-stick antics that everyone could understand). Avatar could seen as raising that bar and further blending the lines between the two mediums (much like how a Miyazaki film combines a whimsical Disney feel with Japanese flair).
I don't know about anyone else, but to me, Teen Titans is an anime version of a U.S. group of heroes...
The style, to me, is more important in determining if it is or is not anime, not where it was made.
I may be the only one that holds that view, though, as Anyien over on Flatchan, and LAH, has pretty much echoed what people have said here. =/

Hey, I've been kind of AWOL for awhile, but I just wanted to check in and say that I love all the contest entries so far. I'll write some coherent reviews once I organize my thoughts a little bit...also, I'm waiting for Poowrite to weigh in, before I make any kind of decision on who to vote for. You always have to make it so damn hard to choose! :P But if I had to play favorites right now, I'd probably go with Jimmy's story, just because I love to see mean girls get their comeuppance. And what a comeuppance it was!
I'm working on a few different fics right now, not sure yet which one will see completion first. Most likely I'll just end up posting two or three at once, once I'm finished. I don't think any of them really apply to the contest, so I'll probably sit this one out. It's not that I don't like peeing, but it's hard for me to get pumped enough about it to write an entire fic, based on just that. Ah well. Here's hoping the next theme is scat friendlier.
Also, Orpheum: Reboot scat! You are surely a genius! I was the biggest fan of that show that I knew back when it was on regularly in the States. I'm going to have to retreat to my underground lair and tinker with that idea for awhile...
Toasty: Thanks for the praise! ;D I'm sorry to hear you won't be participating in this contest. I love your Final Fantasy XII and Ace Attorney fics and was hoping you would apply your talents to a power-over-pee fic. :(
I wish someone'd do a FFXII pee desperation fic with both Ashe and Penelo... I kinda liked Poowrite's fic on that, but it ended too soon... =P

Now, if we'd do a Pee-holding contest, I could, at the very least, put up the Rinoa and Selphie contest. I'm keeping that fic in reserve so that when we DO do that challenge, it'll be ready. xD

I didn't mean a contest. I meant you should issue a challenge in the Challenges section if you want someone to write a certain kind of fic about certain characters. I don't know if anyone reads the challenges, though. :-\

So no chance you'll enter then, Toasty? That's kinda a bummer; I was hoping you and Aluru would make like Orpheum and drop in a "surprise" entry :). Oh well.

FallenStar: Don't see what you can't do a contest fic which utilizes a pee-holding contest. My W.I.T.C.H story (which I hope you've read) uses that as part of the main plot, which then ties into the utlimate goal of the contest (solving the situation with powers).
I do enjoy a good peeing scene, but I guess I also like the prospect of 'follow through' ;D
I'd say just give it a shot and see what happens, that's pretty much what I did with my recent entry, and actually has always alot of the way I've done my stories.
Don't be so cynical. Me and Poowrite read the challenges, if no one else.
Am I to take your earlier comment to mean you're not entering the current contest?
Edit: That was directed to FallenStar. I would also like to read more fics about peeing contests, although I voted for the slumber party option.
I'm not saying I'm not ever gonna post it.... I'm just waiting until we actually do a contest primarily based on a pee-holding contest before I post it... I wanna see if I can win... LOL
Jimmy: I read through the Challenges section and I have seen that, although you've posted a bunch of challenges, you haven't gotten any responses... That's why I said I didn't think anyone'd do my challenge... :/

Finally, I'm finished with a draft of my entry. I really need to take a break from it, but I'll do my usual proof reading and get it posted tonight sometime, I swear.
It's not the one I had been working on. I got nine pages in that one and only had like two paragraphs of peeing stuff and no intentions of adding more. So I went with one of my old ideas. (Yes, I am extremely indecisive. What of it :P)
Story and characters based loosely on these pics ...

Contest IV entry is up. Go and read it.
Or Else...
;D
Not done reading it yet, but so far so good. I've had little sleep and much caffeine, so my attention span is short at the moment. I'm curious about the story you were going to post. Is it done? Will we see it later?
The main idea I developed but discarded was as follows (assuming someone cares). Ignoring the future culture and interstellar politics I made up for it, it was about 2 people trekking to civilization along the barren surface of a desert planet. The male character was a powerful telekinetic who could alter temperatures with his mind, the female character was a beautiful cyborg with a complicated origin and purpose. Not long before she was due to lose bladder control, the woman revealed she hadn't used the bathroom since her ship crashed (long story). When her multi-liter bladder reaches maximum distention, her "holding" is programmed to automatically disengage for her own health. The problem was that her etiquette programming wouldn't let her pee or poop in anything other than a toilet, so she couldn't pee on the ground no matter how badly she wanted to. This could be bypassed by the instructions of a licensed doctor, so she could provide a urine sample if necessary, so they tried that angle but it doesn't work if she can only hear his voice over a communication line. The ultimate solution was that the telekinetic sculpted her a toilet out of melted sand that was close enough to the real thing to "fool" her programming, and, without a moment to spare, she plunked her heat-resistant rump on the hot glass potty and peed to her heart's content, causing considerable steam. I ditched this when I realized someone wasn't using powers to solve their own bladder desperation problem, but someone else's. D'oh!
After that I played around with the idea of 2 people in a cramped spacecraft with no toilets, and 1 has to go bad but needs to do it without alerting the other that she forgot to go before they left Earth despite being told to do so several times. That idea didn't really go anywhere. Then I thought of a stuck elevator and soon had my final story idea.
I probably could enter this contest, Poowrite, but I wouldn't know what I could do a story on. The example story I made on the first page might be a good one to use, but Raven is the only girl who comes to mind that could pull it off. If this were a pooping story contest, I'd think about typing one.
On another note, I've got good and bad news. The bad news is my Legend of Dragoon story being put on hold for the time being due to writer's block (I don't know if anyone remembers me doing that one or not). The good news is I'm close to finishing a Fullmetal Alchemist story I've been typing in secret. The idea for it came to me one day at work, so I figured I should jot it down before I forget all about it. I should have it done and uploaded some time this week.
Jimmy: I don't know, I got like nine pages of the other story written. I really should finish it :).
For anyone who cares: some details of my scrapped ideas...
Originally, "A Matter of Time" was about a magically endowed high school witch. She peed her pants and people started teasing her about it. She ended up using a spell to make everyone else pee themselves. I scrapped it largely because causing bladder problems for everyone else didn't really meet the story requirements.
Second idea featured a nine year witch and her best friend trick-or-treating together. The witch, of course, went as a witch :). Anyway, they have several juice boxes and by the time they're coming home they have to go potty. The last house they want to his is Professor Dolan's (the witch's magic teacher) who promises them goblin-bread muffins if they show up. The trip takes them through Cemetary Lane. One of the older, meaner girls in town is hiding along this spooky stretch of road and scaring little kids and demanding candy tribute for passage. Our heroine uses a simple spell to transfer the urine in her and her friend's bladder to the mean older girl. the sudden increase of voulme in her bladder forces it to empty and the mean girl has to run home in soaked jeans. I gave this one up, largely because I was determined to write in in first person from the view of our witch, but I couldn't make it work ><.
Last idea was heavily inspired by Stephen King's short story "The Moving Finger." The main character, Blair, just moved into a new apartment. The bathroom is haunted by a non-malicious ghost. But Blair can't pee with another sould in the bathroom, living or dead, and has to cleanse her house of the haunt so she can actually use the potty. (She was using the kitchen sink in the meantime.) I gave it up because I had like nine pages of story and maybe four paraghraps of pee related material in the middle and had no intantion of adding more.
Aluru:Well, bummer that you won't be joining the contest. And it's a shame about the Dragoon fic. But, I'm looking forward to your FMA one, hope it's up soon :).

Poowrite, if you did this fic (but modified it slightly so that she would have to go around and actually pick her victims one by one and make them wet through magical means), that, I think, would make a very HOT fic. :)

Such interesting stuff! Before this was a contest I thought about writing a story about a teenage witch solving a potty problem with magic (because I had a dream about a girl doing that, probably thanks to your comment on Nyou 2). But I couldn't think of a way to write the story without it being a total ripoff on
Sabrina, the Teenage Witch so I abandoned it. Your pee-witch story sounds very interesting. I'd say it's worth writing. I think modifying it the way FallenStar suggests would change the story too much, but you can always use his idea for a sequel.
I'm also very interested in your haunted potty story. Even without a lot of pee-related stuff it still sounds like a fun story. I'd like to read it, if it's convenient for you to finish it. Also, please take a peek at my haunted potty challenge, if you haven't already. It might help you.
Finally, another FMA story! I thought it'd just be little ol' me doing stories with that series (I've got another one in the planning stages myself ;D). I hope it's got pooping in it, and I also wonder who'll be the (un)lucky girl to be depicted in the story.
Jimmy, I actually seen you haunted potty challenge after I started my haunted potty story. I played with ideas to make it fit the challenge, but came up blank ???
Fallen Star: That would be an interesting story :).

Since I like to have my girls poop, of course the starlet in this story will take quite a dump. I'm sure you can guess already who that starlet will be, but will she be the only one? You'll just have to wait and see... ;)
The suspense is killing me! Or maybe that's just time... ???

About my review. I somehow didn't notice her 1st name was different in the future. I guess I was seeing 1 thing and thinking another. It makes sense that it's an assumed name, it's just confusing the way you transition.
I might use 1 or both of my unused Contest IV story ideas sometime, but right now I have more pressing issues. The research material for my rescue-the-princess story is due in a little over a week and I still don't even know what year I'm setting it in.
My FMA story is finally done! It turned out to be a lot longer than I was expecting it to be (6,700 words!), so I split it into 2 chapters to make it easier to read.
Hope ya'll enjoy it! 8)
The end of the month nears. I hope everybody has read all the entries. :)
