To suggest a theme, do it in this format.

Description: <theme description>


You can suggest 2 main themes that will be put in the poll,  you can also suggest as many other themes you want that might be put in the poll, though only the first 2 will be considered the 2 main suggestions. feel free to talk and discuss about the themes like always though.

Theme 1: Anything goes

Description: Duh, anything is fair game  :P. Basically we write whatever the frikafrak we feel like, of course within the realms of the site's usual stanards.

Theme 2: Ritual

Description: Basically the story tells a tale about some ritual (real or made up) that involves bodily functions (although other things like eggs, expansion, etc could work as well).

An example would be how I've noticed one picture I saved a long time ago features a girl pooping while the moon shown above depicts what appears to be a bunny-eared girl pooping. Strange I know, but I can't help but imagine it might have some weird grounding in how some cultures practiced rituals during the moon. Who knows... maybe a tribe of women saw a feminine figure on the face of the moon pooping and 'joined the great spirit in celebration'.  :P

By the way, Duce. Did you eliminate the (B) version of the one contest? May as well just trash that, and alter Jimmy's stoy to be just an original piece. And for future reference, I would suggest we withhold on a 'dual' themed contest unless we seek a lot of support for one. That way we don't wind up with the same situation again.

Come on people!  :P Where's the support? These things used to be bustling (sortof) back in the day. Any and all ideas are welcome for suggestions. Now let's see brainstorming!

Theme: Another time period other than medieval

Description; Personally, I don't there are too many medieval stories, but anyway; I was thinking something along the lines of a previous decade, like the 1950s or the 1920s. I also really liked the idea of a Chinese princess or a Viking girl; I wouldn't mind seeing that. My ideal would be a farting/defecation story in a public bathroom, maybe a buddy dump. Sorry if this suggestion doesn't quite fit the format; I just wanted to put the whole idea out there. What do you think?

I agree with the Chinese Princess idea! It's fun to imagine those princess squatting on the old outhouses type toilet while unloading huge behemoth from their petite buttocks!  ;D and our buddy Orpheum and uncle Yarr are quite fit for this tasks  :P

So I guess you basically mean rehashing the Time period theme from the other contest? That would be nice, since I know Yarr and Jimmy were going to do stories like that if I recall. In any case, I just hope we get some participation this time around.

Theme: magic problems

Description: story about the lesser told problems concerning magic and toilet issues, story can be about any girl or girls as long as she's has problem with using the toilet because of magic. the magic problem could be a side effect, or magic that has the purpose of causing the problem, or even some sort of magical backfire of some sort, or some thing.

such as magic has made her giant and she needs to use it and she can't return to normal,
or magic that has made her where she always has to go and can't stop,
or maybe magic meant to steal power from other girls or something but she messes it up or something and instead causes her steal their pee/poop when she gets close to them,
or any other sort of problem with the toilet and magic

I think the contest should probably be "anything goes."  Otherwise I worry there won't be any entries.  Still, I have a theme I'd love to see...


Theme: Adult Potty Training

Description: An adult woman or teenage girl is taught how to use an ordinary toilet.  You can make up the reason why.  Maybe she's from another planet with very weird facilities, or she comes from a culture where they always relieve themselves outdoors, or she was raised by robots that kept changing her diapers over the years rather than training her to use the toilet (due to a programming oversight), or her memory got erased.

Theme: Femme Fatale Feces

Description: I saw a challenge on this site where a tough female would be caught in an awkward peeing situation. My idea is similar to that, but with pooping instead. What would be really nice would be seeing something like that happen to someone really bitchy, like Videl. (I don't care for her much. She always struck me as a bully.)

We have some really good theme suggestions here.  I especially like the magic one and the femme fatale one.  I hope we get some entries this time around.

I would guess Duce should just go ahead and make the poll, we've already got a good handful of theme ideas, and it does seem like not many more will probably come. Once we've gotten it selected, then hopefully we'll see some more activity.

Had to go with my theme for the poll. It just seems like the best case for getting more people to play in this contest again.

I voted for that one too.  I like the other themes, but this is the one that will get entries.

I threw in a vote for "Adult Potty Training."  I think there was an episode of "Highlander" that had the main character coming across a woman who had been in suspended animation since ancient Egyptian times, and he had to show her a LOT of stuff to get her acclimated to the modern world.  I'm sure that bathroom facilities weren't a part of it on screen but you would think...

Or any other time-travel situation where a woman from before modern indoor plumbing as we know it finds herself in the present day. 

There was a great Teen Titans story I read on here where Raven has to teach Starfire how to use modern earth plumbing.  ;D

That would be "Tamaranian Toilet Training" by Bones.  Great stuff.  There's also "Potty Training Aelita" and "Melfina's Bathroom Lesson," both by Orpheum.  I should be thankful that there are already so many good fics following this theme, even though I'd love to read some more.

If anyone could supply me a list of other girls (game, anime, manga, etc) who are 'blank slates' I could maybe  think of another story in the vain of my Aelita and Melfina stories. I had one idea a long while back, but totally forgot who the girl was.  :P

Well, Terra from FF6 is an amnesiac. Wouldn't mind a fic of Locke or Edgar showing her how to use the Figaro restroom...after Terra poops herself, ignorant of the proper procedure for such things.

The only one I can think of is Mutsumi in Love Hina.  In the manga version, there's a chapter where she temporarily regresses to age 6 after being hit on the head (which makes no sense, but does that really matter?).  For all we know there was a later incident where she regressed to age 2-4, when she wasn't yet potty trained. 

So Keitaro and Naru would take care of her like when she was a quasi-6-year-old, and her adult anatomy plus the need to change her diapers would equal awkward moments for Keitaro (and Naru would probably beat him up for getting too much pleasure from changing her).  As her condition wore on, the awkwardness and inconvenience would prompt Keitaro and/or Naru to try to make her remember her potty training, but nothing would ring a bell for Mutsumi and she'd have to learn all over again. 

No, that's not very plausible.  Yes, I'd enjoy reading a story like that.  :)

If some of the "lurkers" vote, I will personally consider a few requests. But you have to cast a vote and honestly make a good reason for it, don't just vote to get noticed.

Come on people, actually do something for once on this site, you don't have to write a story or offer much, just vote in the polls, make some comments, maybe even review. Trust me, it'll yield some nice rewards if you actually contribute from time to time.

It's a tie between Anything goes and Femme Fatale while the Magic and Adult toilet training are tied but following behind. Looks like Ritual wasn't all that popular. Oh well, if someone could at least look at the picture I mentioned and come up with a likely backstory, maybe I could still use it.

I like the ritual idea, I just don't think it's the best on the board.  I've imagined peeing and pooping rituals in the past, and the religious and secular traditions they're based on.  Where can I see this Moon pooping picture?

Huh? Maybe someone did change their votes. But I don't see how since I think only admins can do that. As for the picture, it shoudl be nyou3. Just look for a picture of a girl holding her butt and pooping with a full moon in the sky. If you don't see it, I'll see if I can reupload (granted I didn't forget to post it already  :P).

I looked for that picture on Nyou 3 under "Scat," but couldn't find it.

I think you can change votes, so that might be the answer.  But are you sure you didn't misread the graph?

Ok, I'll got an post it, though I thought it had been already. As for the polls, I'm sure Femme fatale was tied before, given how me, and Livinginfinite both saw it was yesterday. Obviously something is wrong or somebody messed with the polls (which I think only admins can do).

I assumed L.I. was repeating what you said without checking himself.

If there's still a tie when the poll closes, there should be a new poll with Magic Problems and Ritual removed from the options.

well the polls do have the option of of leting people change their votes but it's not enabled on this poll, and I yeah only poll owner and staff can edit a poll but I know I didn't only other person beside's orpheum I think could would be fallenstar but I'm pretty sure they didn't either.  and I never saw it those two in a tie I just though yall misread it like jimmy

Then maybe it was some quick glitch. Cause I know for sure I saw the Femme theme get 3 before the other day. Oh well. Anyway, it looks like we just need a tie breaker before the end of the day. Though I would say, if one does break the vote before end of this coming weekend, then we should default to Anything goes simply because it will be simpler in the chance that people were still on the fence about what story to go with.

So everything but Femme and Ritual tied at 3? Well, as I suggested, if we can't get a tie breaker by the weekend, then I would say we just go with "Anything goes" since it seems like the most logical theme since it's the most diverse.

This might be the biggest voter turnout we've ever gotten.  I agree, it should be anything goes.  If this contest is popular, the other 3 tied themes should be the options for the next contest.

Oh yeah, the poll... :P  I could brake the tie if people want me too, but I'd mostly just like to share my thoughts on the subject.

I agree with Jimmy and Orpheum that "Anything goes" is the most logical choice, as it has the best chance of actually generating stories, and that is the whole point of these contests.  On the other hand, I've really been in the mood for another "Potty Training" fic. lately.  I suppose nothing would stop someone from entering one with that theme in an open contest, but as Jimmy said, if it's likely to be it's own contest some time soon, people may want to save their ideas.

I'd like to say that if my chosen theme won, I would try to come up with something myself, but I'd be lying. :-X  I've just gotten into other "creative" things this summer and that's likely to continue into the fall.  I really do plan on having one more something up here before the end of the year, whether it's the Ranma thing, my Avatar story that's sat half-writer in a notebook for three years, or something else entirely. ;)

On the potty training theme, Orpheum mentioned wanting to have a list of subjects to pick from.  I have the limitation of not having seen too big of a variety of anime/manga, but I did come up with a few ideas. 

Any of the female Soul Reapers from Bleach are possibilities.  I know there's already one with Rukia along these lines, but it's more messing-centered than actually about teaching her anything (nothing wrong with that of course, just not my particular fetish. ;))  Another story that could possible be "reinterpreted" along these lines is the short with Rangiku and Orihime, with a little learning by example going on in her apartment one night.  Imagine someone as "eccentric" as Orihime trying to explain how to poop! ;D  Even if the Soul Society dose have something that serves a function like a toilet, why would it have to look or work anything like an Earth one? ???

My other idea is actually along those same lines (being another "Soul Reaper" of sorts;) Boton from Yu Yu Hakusho.  Wile the manga doesn't really make it clear if she ever had a human body before in modern times, for the sake of a fic., we could assumes she hasn't and has to be shown how living bodies work.  I can imagine a scenario where she mentions some strange feelings to Yusuke wile bringing him some information about a mission at school and he shamelessly pawns her off on poor Keiko who then has to take the grim reaper to the little girls room.  I've always wanted to read one of these set around a public restroom where both the "student" and the "teacher" could be on the toilet, going at the same time.  Maybe someone could even come in and witness a very unusual conversation. ;)  I assume that not as many people would know this series as some of the more currently popular ones, but that's something I would love to read! :kawaii:
