This intrigues me due to the fact of it being a true story. You don't seem to have exaggerated any details to the point of disbelief, which it makes it all the more realistic.
My only qualm is that you don't go into much detail at all about what you could have gone into detail in. More about the feeling, appearance, and so on about the accident would have been better.
Still, the character dialogue is interesting, the wording is good, and I don't find a lot of problems in this story besides what I've already stated.
All in all, nice recollection. You must be brave to post this.

This is a fun story, told with great choice of words. I especially like this part: "I felt some pressure and tried to… 'release it' if you get my meaning." The way it's wrapped up at the end is nice, with how the story coined a phrase. I think a little more detail, such as a thorough description of what the mess looked like, would make the story more enjoyable.
