I've been looking for new artists to commission lately, so I thought I'd bump this topic in case anyone has new info.

Also, I take commissions at my Tumblr: http://microscribbles.tumblr.com/

Hey, everyone, I've finally gotten around to starting a Tumblr for my drawings. microscribbles.tumblr.com

QuoteI think my fanfiction style might be too tame for this site.

Personally I think tame is usually way hotter than straight-up erotica, but I'm weird that way.

General Discussion / Re: Nyou Dreams

Hey, I finally had a relatively detailed nyou dream last night! It took place in one of the administration buildings that I used to have to go to a lot when I started college. On the first floor of the building was one of those one-seater bathrooms where the toilet is attached to the wall rather than the floor, and there are handrails on the wall for handicap accessibility. In the dream, a couple of (male) friends and I were walking down the hall toward that bathroom, when I got the feeling that I should open the door. The three of us stopped there, and I pushed the door open.

We were all surprised to find that it was occupied by my girlfriend, who was sitting inside wearing only a black tank-top. She looked a little embarrassed, but greeted us as if the situation was more or less normal. We stood there watching and all four of us had a conversation that was punctuated by her plops. The last thing I remember before moving on to another dream was her making a comment about the smell and laughing.

QuoteSo which do you want to read fanfiction of, the trilogy or the O.V.A.?

The original trilogy. I like A-ko as the heroine and B-ko as the villain. That kind of gets reversed in the OVAs.

QuoteI couldn't really get into Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040.

I watched about one episode of 2040, and had the same reaction. I like the original show for the way it shamelessly rips off Blade Runner, but still kind of feels unique. 2040 just felt like generic sci-fi anime.

QuoteProject A-ko is just one movie, right?

There two sequels to the original movie, but I don't know if they got theatrical releases or not. Then there were two OVAs that did a weird alternate universe thing and kind of suggested that there are infinite versions of the main characters. As far as I know, only the first movie was released on DVD here, but all of it came out on VHS.

QuoteHad something of a wet dream last night  :-[.

Wait, Orpheum, how was that a wet dream? I mean, I'm accepting of people's fetishes, but if Brock Samson being spawned by a she-creature is what gets you going, we may have to have a talk.

Jimmy, you make me jealous with how many on-topic dreams you have. I find that when I dream about this stuff, it's usually over in a flash, and the "plot" is that I'm not getting to see what I want to see. For example, every couple of months or so, I'll have a dream where I find a bathroom with the door open just enough that I can tell that there's a woman inside sitting on the toilet, but when I try to look in, someone pushes me away, and I either wake up (usually) or move into some other dream. I'd think it had something to do with my having had plenty of real-life experiences, but I've pretty much been having the same dream since puberty.

Neither of my favorite '80s anime series, Project A-ko and Bubblegum Crisis, are represented on the site yet. I can understand A-ko, because I doubt many people who got into anime post-Sailor Moon have seen it (a real shame--it's hilarious and looked amazing in its day), but I thought Bubblegum Crisis was still pretty highly respected. Still, both series have lots of potential, given their large female casts.

I'm not sure if the last couple of requests were aimed at me or not, but just in case, I wanted to point out that I'm not taking requests anymore for various reasons I've talked about in the general discussion section. Of course that's not to say that someone else isn't welcome to pick them up...

QuoteBut no pressure, not a great loss if you never draw again.

Gee, thanks Orpheum. You really know how to make a guy feel good!  :'(

Seriously, though, I've never quit drawing--I just draw for my own enjoyment now (and occasionally for the people I talk to regularly online).

I didn't have any problem registering, but was majorly disappointed by the clubs. Most of the ones I looked at had either been spammed with OT pics, or existed entirely to beg others to post in them. As far as I can tell, you're better off just using their search.

I'm still here, but like Orpheum said, not doing commissions anymore thanks to a couple of unpleasant experiences. I also lost my TOTALLY LEGITIMATE copy of Photoshop when I had to reinstall my OS earlier this year, so I don't feel like what I can do with the software I have at the moment is up to commission quality anyway.

This is a really good idea, though--why not try making it into a story, and see if that inspires any artists?

yarr: I've seen a few girls in that situation over the years. What I eventually discovered is that there are girls out there who are willing to let you watch if you just ask.  ;)

Orpheum: I'm not too worried about anyone recognizing anybody in the story, as long as I make the small changes I have in mind. But your suggestion about how to handle scenes with guys is pretty much what I planned--not going into any more detail than is absolutely necessary to get the point across. Hopefully that will be good enough for most people.

General Discussion / Autobiography
July 11, 2010, 11:32:04 PM
So, recently I've been kicking around the idea of writing an autobiography about my experiences with nyou-friendly fetishes. As I think I've hinted at before, I've had pretty good luck with seeing girls involved in the kind of activities that I draw and write about, and I'd like to share some of those stories with the community.

There are two problems, though. One, this site is for fiction, not non-fiction. While I'd be changing names and the occasional minor detail in order to protect the innocent (and the not so innocent, i.e. me), what I would write would still be 99% true.

The other problem is that a few of my experiences, which I think are pretty important to the overall story, involve guys, as well as girls, going to the bathroom. I don't have to describe those in any detail, but I'd rather not get a bunch of "OMG ur teh gayz" comments.

So, give me your input. How much effort I put into writing this will be largely determined by the comments here.
