Funny, I was just thinking the same thing today.   Well Jimmy (not too sound like too much of a smart a$$), but the answer is that people should just post more stuff.  Specifically, we could ask our members to just talk about anything they've seen or thought about recently that's at all related to this site.  I know this site is mainly about full stories, but with as busy as people are, those have always been few and far between.  I'm working fairly quickly (for me) on one right now and I know Yarr has a ton of projects in the works.  It seems to me that a bunch of stories tend to show up at once followed by long periods of (almost) nothing.  

Things like Yarr's polls are fun and are something people can contribute to without investing a lot of time.  The "Indecent Proposals" thing was a lot of fun and I still go back and read them sometimes, but I'm afraid that may have run it's course unless we start reusing series (*ducks as Orpheum tries to chop off my head with a sword*)   Ok ,ok!  Maybe I could think of one more.  I would start a poll or a mini-RP/branching short story this minute if I thought it would help, but if no one contributed I would feel like an idiot.  Yarr and Orpheum just seem to have that magic spark that makes people want to join in (but I'm sure they wish they still had more of it.)

I do have one project I think could be put here.  I've been working on a theoretical way you could incorporate your (cute female) characters bodily functions into a classic RPG format.  Basically, the active characters would have "Potty Meters" that would fill up over time and faster when you use a potion.  If you let the meter fill too high without taking them to a toilet in a town, they get negative status conditions like "Desperate" and "Wet" that handicap them in combat.  I'm planning to do this in the form of an imaginary FAQ chapter explaining how it works.  I suppose after I get it all done, I could try to act as a "dungeon master" taking some people through a text game based on the system.

I can't even get on the pic. site right now until I get a better pop-up blocker (%$@#ing Anon ) but we could start more discussion topics here.  This place has over 900 members now, but it's only us 15 or so main writers that actually post on this forum.  Some of those others who just come to read might have some good ideas if we could find a way to encourage them to post.  On the other hand, keeping this small may have it's advantages, we don't want to become another Gurochan with a thousand morons spaming and flaming each other 24/7.

As for getting more activity here, my thoughts would be more things like the polls, some threads for random discussion and maybe one for short one-page stories that people could contribute to without investing too much time.  Any of these could also provide ideas for more major fics.

(And now I just spent half an hour on this when I could have been working on actual content. ;D)

it really is strange, I know the main theme of this site is pee and poop, but when I repost my succubus Series, which I'm sure not everyone has read, then point out which chapters have pee or poop, I get no comments to any of them. But then, my buddy Fallenstar posts a REWRITE of one of my own chapters, and it gets replies, and it's not even a pee or poop fic! i mean WT!? O_o And it's not like no one reads it, it has a 422 read count, What's the deal? seriously. Is it becouse it's a series?

I haven't had quite the spark to write anything. And I hate myself for it, since I really want to get my book done soon (I mean, it's kinda lame I've spent nearly 9 years on it, but at least the time has been benificial for improvement). But I have been occasionally forcing myself to write a little, and it does help get the juices flowing again after they've run dry.

Hopefully I can put aside a day to just do some writing and maybe I'll get about to spinning out a new story. Though I admit it's a shame that not many more people do stuff here.  Nearly a thousand members, and barely a fraction of them (us) actually do anything. Of course Bones is right that it's better than gurochan which is pretty much a worse place at times than 4chan (and that place has enough idiots screaming at one another on just a single thread type).

I had hoped the Indecent Proposals would have gotten more attention, since it was meant to be a place for quickie little shorts that wouldn't have worked being posted as stories (read: too short for a regular submission).

Though I'm really upset that no one hasn't taken part in the contest, there usually would be at least one story in no time after the contest started and at least 2-3 more before the deadline, yet I haven't seen a single entry yet. Granted, we've already done so many, I guess everyone might be a little strapped for theme related stories. Hmmm, maybe if I do some brain storming, maybe I can whip up something this week...

If each person refrained from posting their entry because it would be the only entry, nobody would ever post an entry.  I saw put it up.  If there are no other entries then the contest will just be called off.

As for spicing up the forum, we could start a new thing that's like Indecent Proposals.  We could do a series of different heroines responding to sudden diarrhea attacks during serious/crisis situations.  Or a series of what different female characters would do if they caught a male character from their series spying on them while they go potty.

The "Succubus" series is too hard-core for me.  I've been meaning to start reading and reviewing the "Popular Girl" series, but a real-life friend has been giving me chapters of her novel to read and critique, so I've kind of had my hands full.  I'll try to make time for "The Popular Girl," though.

I don't know if people don't review your fics because of they are a series, but I can say that I had to brow beat Poowrite into reviewing any of my fics in the first place and it's quite possible he's just gotten too used to it now, lol

Too hardcore? what do you mean by that? what do you find too hardcore about it? Is it some of the more stranger things that happen in some chapters, like Alex getting impregged by a slithering animal, or Alex visiting a dream world?

The "Succubus" series has tags for rape, masturbation, and yuri.  Those things are a little too intense for me.  For some reason I had it in my head that "The Popular Girl" was much tamer, but I looked at the tags just now and it's much of the same.  Sorry, these series aren't my kind of thing, and so my reviews wouldn't be worth much to you.

well all the chapters are tagged as well, you can just skip over the chapters you find too extreme, most of the chapters in the succubus series arn't really dependent on other, you don't have to start from chapter one and continue on that way, well, unless your the type of person that doesn't like to skip around in a series...

and there's only one rape scene in the popular Girl, chapter 18 I think, there are lots of masturbation and yuri though

I haven't had the time or motivation to sit down and write up any fics. Maybe now that football season is over, I can find a few hours on Sunday to do something? I've been going through the challenges in an attempt to get my juices flowing, and I'd really like to respond to nagato's "Valkyria Chronicles" and Jimmy's "Asuka's Constipation" challenges. I just haven't gotten around to writing them.

I think I spend way to much time ... "planning" them now days. You know, trying to make them perfect. But, the more time I think about a story, the more esaily I scare myself out of actually writing it  . Maybe I should just brute force something and see if that doesn't help me get things moving. <insert lame constipation joke> HAHAHA!

You wouldn't win just because there aren't any other stories, the contest would still be open until at least another fiction was made. I doubt we would ever end a contest with just one entry. I say, post whichever one you want, hopefully someone else can throw in their hat so we can just end this contest. I would enter myself, but I just don't really care for diaper stuff much.
