Stranded

So, I had this idea of doing a series of stories about girls getting stranded on the toilet with no paper, and having to be rescued by some other character. Now given how slowly I tend to work, there's no guarantee I'll ever actually get around to writing one of these, let alone a series, but I'm still interested in hearing which characters people would like to see stranded, and who might come to their rescue. A few I'm kicking around:

Akane/Kasumi (Ranma)
Usagi (or Ami)/Shingo (Sailor Moon)
Motoko/Haruka (Love Hina)

Give me some more ideas!

I'm not terribly familiar with Ranma or Hina, but the Sailor Moon one could work. Other possibilities you could consider might be Tifa getting saved by Cloud. Or maybe Mihoshi being saved by Kiyone (she does always seem to need her partner's help in some of the most outrageous times ;D)

Kinda makes me think about how I ought to try and start up the 'Indecent Proposal' series, wherein we'd all tell little 'what if' stories involving known couples proposing to one another on the crapper.

Hmm... it'd be nice for you to think a bit outside the box for this one. To tell you the truth, I don't know a lot of the animes written about most here, so its hard for me to visualize characteristics. Maybe try doing one with -recent- episodes in English? I hope that's not violating a taboo, or something of the sort.

Huh? I think you might have rushed the comment a bit. Sounds like you're saying not to use any animes but at the same time ones recently dubbed. But Maybe I'm not reading it quite right. If you're having any trouble visualizing the characters, just google the show.

Back on the topic though, the best way to narrow the field is to use a series where the female character has a close relationship. This way, it can help remain true if you want to use the embarassment angle when the friend/love interest/whatever brings the toilet paper in.

An example, if you'd like, would be this: Ayeka finds out that Ryoko stole the toilet paper from the bathroom and screams and beg for someone to come bring her more. Well, Sasami and Mihoshi out are shopping, Kiyone elsewhere and Washu is working. So who comes in? Tenchi, that's who. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to explain how the scene could then play out

That's exactly what I was thinking, and why Love Hina could actually generate about a thousand different pairings. The Ayeka/Tenchi idea is a good one, though. <adds to list>

Sure Micro, sounds like a great idea to me, well worth looking into and adding to the list of possible project concepts.

Of your original list, I would actually vote for Akane from ?Ranma?, it's time those girls got some love.  I can already see a scenario with Ryoga as P-chan bringing her some TP and getting a free show without her ever realizing it, kind of like in your old drawing.  If you meant for the whole idea to be couples/friends bonding thing, then Orpheum's ?Miho-Kiyo? idea sounds good.  That kind of thing would probably happen all the time behind the scenes in that show as Mihoshi isn't the kind to replace the roll or check for paper before plopping her big, bronze booty on the potty.    I had an idea something like this years ago.  And of course, a really desperate need for paper would imply big, sloppy wet dumps, and I'm always up for that.  ;D

I hate to say it, but the ?everybody contribute very short toilet proposal stories idea? kind of already happened in the image board thread.  Adding more series or expanding on those ideas would be hard, (not that I would ever discourage anyone else from trying.

I understand what N means about using shows that more people would be familiar with and I really enjoy stories a lot more when I can not only visualize the characters but know their personalities and can go ?Ya, that's exactly how '------'  world react!?  I hate to say it , but I think the chose of a relatively little known (by us) universe is what doomed Yarr's branch story project.  It would be nice to focus on series that have been run on Cartoon Network at least once, but let's never discount great ideas for other universes, no matter how obscure.  As Orpheum said, if you really want to know about a show, info. sites, pics. and even full episodes are only a click away.

Totally Toilet!

Sam, Clover and Alex had eaten a big spicy lunch. They were walking down the mall, when Sam felt her belly.
"You OK, Sam?" asked Clover.
"Yeah, Clover," said Sam, "I just have to use the bathroom."
Clover and Alex both held their bellies. "Me too!" the said in unison.

All three girls trouped to the female restroom. The girls walked into three stalls and shut the doors behind them. Clover unbuttoned her faded and patched jeans, pulled them with her aqua blue boyshort panties down her legs to her ankles and sat down on the toilet. Sam unbuttoned her dark blue jeans, pulled them down her legs to her feet, pulled her brief panties down halfway between her knees and ankles and sat on the toilet. Alex unbuttoned her jean shorts, pulled them and her thong down to her knees and sat down on the toilet.
Clover had a fashion magazine with her, and she flickered to the page with the lingerie article. During her reading, her poop seeped out from her butt and into the toilet. Sam had a thick textbook with her, and she read a few pages while she squeezed out her chocolate fundae. Alex was beating her high-score on Tetris, while she went Number 2.
Alex was finishing herself up when suddenly, there was no toilet paper left the the vender next to her.
"Um...Sam? Clover?" she asked, "I'm out of toilet paper and I was wondering you had some."
Clover stopped reading and checked the next to her. "I'm out of toilet paper, too!" she shrieked.
Sam checked hers too. "You're right; WE'RE all out of toilet paper!"
Sam was right: she, Clover and Alex were trapped in the bathroom with no toilet paper.

A little later, the janitor came in.
"Is anybody in here?" he asked.
"YES!" crowed Alex, "but PLEASE don't go! We're out of toilet paper!"
Sam and Clover felt a little embarrassed by Alex's cry for help, but they said nothing.
The janitor was a neighborly sort and he tossed three TP rolls to the girls in their stalls. The girls happily tore some squares off, wiped their butts until they were clean, pulled their underwear and pants back up, flushed and left the stalls smiling. They all thanked the janitor, washed their hands and left the bathroom.

The janitor removed his mask...it was Tim Scam! He removed what appeared cameras from the toilets with an evil grin.
"They don't know what's coming to them," Tim smiled wickedly.

I think shy girls would make the most enjoyable "stranding" stories.  Shinobu being rescued by Su would be great, since I imagine Su-chan being very open about bathroom functions, and oblivious to the fact that Shinobu wouldn't her to blab about the crisis.  Ami from Sailor Moon could be another good candidate.
